Leith Volkswagen of Cary Heritage Club

We all love our older Volkswagen models and want them to last forever. However, as they age, they sometimes need extra love and attention. Who better to love on your VW than the guys who have been working on them since they were new? The veterans of today were around when your Volkswagen was an infant so you will have a person working on your car who is enthusiastic, who gets what your Volkswagen is all about, and who understands what your Volkswagen means to you because it means so much to them.

We Understand Your VW
We understand that many owners of older vehicles feel that the dealership may not be the most cost-effective place to get cars serviced. We get that, but let?s look at the situation. Who would you rather have working on your car: a $9/hour apprentice at your local fix-it shop using methods he or she read about in an online forum or a person who has been to school studying cars, seen nearly all the things that can go wrong, has been reading technical bulletins for 10 years, has the tools to fix cars and has repaired so many they can do it in their sleep?

Things To Consider
So what kinds of things do we need to consider? Old cars have old car issues. Plastic pieces will get brittle and break. That?s just a cost of taking things apart and cannot always be predicted. Sometimes parts may be sourced from alternative places to reduce expense. If aftermarket parts are used, we will be sure to discuss it with the customer before the work is done. Sometimes the aftermarket has come up with a clever solution to a common problem. Also, we can package certain types of repairs that logically should be paired together.

Better Pricing
Since we will be working on vehicles of a certain vintage, we will adjust our labor prices to coincide with that vintage. This will mean that when receiving the rate for a club member, no other coupons will apply unless they have been sent specifically stating it covers the Heritage Club.

As a club member, you acknowledge your understanding that we are attempting to repair your car as cost-effectively as possible. Sometimes this takes time to look into options. This really does not lend itself to waiting for the vehicle. We would recommend dropping the car off with us.

Again, older cars can have old car issues. For example, significant rust or corrosion can make things more complicated, therefore adding to the cost.

We are trying to provide you with a dealership level of repair and experience at next-door neighbor prices.
